Did You Know

Did you know that St. Paul Catholic Church is part of the family of Holy Cross parishes? Yes, we are still part of the Diocese of Austin, but we are administered by Holy Cross.

So who is Holy Cross?

With nearly 2,000 priests, brothers, sisters, and seminarians in universities, colleges, high schools, foreign missions, parishes, social justice ministries and other apostolic works on five continents, Holy Cross is growing in the 21st century as Educators in the Faith. Founded by Blessed Basil Moreau, the community's seal is the cross and anchors with the motto, "Ave Crux Spes Unica," The Cross, Our Only Hope. Our initials (C.S.C.) are Latin for Congregatio a Sancta Cruce.

For more information on Holy Cross click on the seal above.

Prayer:

My Lord and my God. I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me.  I cannot know for certain where it will end.

Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.

But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you, and I hope I have that desire in everything I do.

I hope that I will never do anything apart from your desire.  And I know that if I do this, you will lead me by the right road through I may know nothing about it at the time.

Therefore I will trust you always, though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death.  I will not fear, for you are always with me, and you will never leave me to  face my troubles alone.
